Yesterday Room 8 and 10 went to the zoo to find out about endangered animals (our new topic for the rest of the term) and ways we could prevent them from becoming extinct.

Miss Tuapawa, Pajtrion and La'Quinda walking through Pride Lands
Having a look at the hippos
Always time for a photo!
Collecting information to use when we get back to school
Crossing the bridge- some of us were scared
Merani holding a jar of claws from a tiger
Learning how some animals live without thumbs
La'Quinda measuring her hand print against Charlie the Orangutan's hand print
Odin and Richard trying to untie a knot without using their thumbs like a Spider Monkey does
Creating a story from photos
Listening to our awesome Zoo advisor, John
Crusing through the zoo
Room 8 and 10 still smiling at the end of the day
A huge thank you to all our parent helpers, without you this trip wouldn't have been possible.
This was an amazing trip, we were really proud of all of you, as your attitudes were fantastic; we received great feedback from the Zoo keepers. Well done. We look forward to going on another trip with you.
